Tacloban is in devastated Condition

Monster Typhoon Yolanda leaves Tacloban City in a devastated situation. Thousand Filipinos died because of storm surge and 9 billion worth of properties were destroyed. Even if you are not in Tacloban you will still affected if you saw those people crying and asking for help.

Tacloban City is one of the best destination spot in the Philippines but today it looks like hell. Hundreds of people are crying. Not only because of what happened to them and to their family but because they are very hungry.

Monster Typhoon Yolanda destroyed communication line in Tacloban. Tacloban people waited for several days before the help came. In the second day of that disaster, my heart is crying when I saw Tacloban people begging for help, when I saw them crying because their properties are destroyed and there is no food and water.

Government officials have the responsibility to help their people in need especially in calamity but Monster Typhoon Yolanda gives tremendous disaster that affect thousand lives.

Government had a hard time to accommodate hundred of people asking for help but because Filipinos has ‘bayanihan’ attitude even civilians offer help. Companies, small and big, send relief goods, used clothes and medicines. And the good thing is, even foreigners help Filipinos to survive in the calamity given by Monster Typhoon Yolanda

There will be no Christmas Party

Most companies decided not to celebrate Christmas Party this year, this is the mutual decision of employers and employees. It’s really hard to be happy when you know that there are 2,000 people in Tacloban died and thousand of  people needs help – they loss their love ones and their properties.

The most shivering part is when we saw those dead bodies everywhere – street, trees, rocks and they will not have proper burial. Most of them died with their family. Maybe some of their family members survive but does not afford to give them nice burial because they lost everything. It sad to say that people in Tacloban did not survive anything but themselves.

Tacloban people have no choice but to agree for mass burial. Dead bodies should bury immediately to avoid more problems. Dead body is bad for our health. It can give illness that can lead to death. Government officials know what will happen to the survivors if they choose to ignore the situation.

So, do you think that you can celebrate your Christmas party knowing these people in Tacloban who feels that they are in hell?

Meaning of Storm Surge

More than 2,000 people died in Tacloban because of Monster Typhoon Yolanda. 9 billion pesos worth  infrastructures, building, houses and properties vanished because of the storm surge.

Storm surge means that the water will rise because of the storm so if you are living near the sea, you have to evacuate immediately.  If the water or sea level goes up, you have to expect that the tidal wave will follow. Therefore, it means that storm surge can kill thousand lives, destroy everything. Just like what happened in Tacloban City because of Monster Typhoon Yolanda.

Before, Tacloban City is one of the best places in the Philippines. Hundred of foreigners choose to build properties in this city because every Island in Tacloban is perfect. That is the reason why some writers spend their week in Tacloban. They stay in a hotel or one of their Islands. They believe that they can have a great love story if they stay in beautiful place.

Writers are creative and imaginative so they know what will happen if the storm surge will come. Unfortunately, not all Filipinos especially those who are living in remote area did not know that meaning of storm surge. Many believe that it is the reason why Tacloban City has thousand casualties even Philippine Gov’t announces that Tacloban and other part of Visaya will experience storm surge so they don’t have an idea how strong the Minster Typhoon Yolanda can be .

Monster Typhoon Yolanda killed thousand lives of Filipino

Monster Typhoon Yolanda stole thousand lives of Filipinos, turning their beautiful city into hell.
November 7 when PAGASA weather forecast announce that Monster Typhoon will landed in Philippines  and the people in affecting area should evacuate immediately. Many were force to leave but some choose to stay to protect their properties and that is the biggest mistake they did in their whole life.
November 8,   the Monster Typhoon Yolanda landed in Tacloban City. The wind is very strong, the rain is too heavy, and that is the reason why Yolanda called Monster Typhoon.  The gusts reached 379km/hr (235mph) waves as high as 15m (45ft0 and up to 400mm (15.75inches) of rain in pieces are enough to slammed and destroy establishments, houses, trees and everything. The communication line is cut because of the monster typhoon. Two days later, when we discovered what really happened to Tacloban City.

The beautiful towns of Tacloban become horrible. The houses and establishments are totally wreck as well as the trees. Animal and people corpses can found everywhere. Not all people in Tacloban died part of them died too.
Maybe many give help but that is not enough to recover especially they loss their family or family member. But today the survivors of the victims of Monster Typhoon Yolanda need help – food, water and clothes. Filipinos are very glad that many countries give their hands to help the victims of the Monster Typhoon Yolanda.
